Bushmans’s Grill – an African flavour with a kiddie’s area

For over 20 years, the Bezuidenhout family owned and operated DV8 Restaurant in Harare, Zimbabwe. It is fondly remembered by many for “Steaks You Leave Home For”. This popular steakhouse eventually extended into Cape Town, South Africa, for a few years before the whole Bezuidenhout family decided to settle in Hermanus.

For eight years Shane and Dee carried Rossi’s Restaurant to the height of its success before finally joining their siblings in New Zealand. After years of nostalgia and countless requests the Bezuidenhout siblings coupled with their spouses have joined forces to reintroduce their most popular dishes from their previous endeavors under the roof of Bushman’s Grill.

Learn to once again enjoy the dinner experience, whilst you relax in a warm upbeat environment with an African flavour. Good food is worth waiting for and your kids can make use of our kiddie’s area whilst you chat or sample our wines from our very reasonably priced wine list, whilst we prepare your gourmet meal from scratch. Food prepared and served in our skillets will keep your taste buds wanting to return again and again.
