Five years ago I started a business in the Bellville/Durbanville area near Cape Town. Extra Mile offers a variety of services, but the main idea is to become the link between expats all over the world and their elderly loved ones staying behind. I want to be the one who visits, assists, celebrates and helps wherever necessary. The stand in daughter who sets the expat mind at ease with reassuring feedback. Extra mile is a multifaceted business venture founded in September 2014. It branches out into various business ideas, ranging from Lego play parties for children to English conversational classes for adults and airport transfers - all with a personal touch. The main focus is on children and families, their activities and their individual needs; guesthouses and the elderly in retirement villages. Transport, catering, entertainment and various services and skills offered, form the links among the diverse components. Each is a business in its own right and somehow they all support each other in a unique way. One thing they DO all have in common though, is a love for people. When it comes to customer satisfaction, extra mile does not only drive the extra mile, but they sure do GO the extra mile… with a smile.
