Since I arrived in New Zealand 6 years ago, I worked as a welder at a company learning all about steel, stainless steel and aluminium. The preparation and treatment of “black steel” with hot dip galvanize makes sure your product will last longer than untreated.
I started my own business “HiTec Welding Ltd” a couple of years ago, focusing mainly on stainless barbeques and designed my own brand “Kiwi Braai Master” built in barbeques, which sells for a fraction more than imported normal steel ones from SA. Making grills, grids, smaller barbecues and any related item.
Moving into a bigger workshop soon, I will be able to do any new projects using “Black Steel” (hot dip galvanised) or the repairs on existing items, any Aluminium new projects or repairs, as well as any Stainless Steel new projects or repairs.
